Parent volunteers play an essential role in creating a supportive and enriched environment where students can grow and succeed. Your time and dedication directly contribute to the quality of our programs and the strength of our school community, and we deeply appreciate your commitment.
To maintain this partnership, RTSA requires all families to contribute volunteer hours each school year: 20 hours for families with one child and 40 hours for families with two or more children. Your involvement not only helps provide additional support for students and teachers but also reinforces the values of community and teamwork that are integral to our mission.

Volunteer Clearance Process
At Road to Success Academy, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. To ensure all volunteers meet our standards, we require the following steps for clearance:
- Application Submission: Parents and guardians must complete a volunteer application online. This form allows us to collect all necessary information.
- Background Screening: All applicants must undergo a thorough background check through DCF/FDLE. This screening ensures a safe environment for our school community.
- Administrative Review: Once the application and background screening are complete, a designated administrator will verify the results and check for compliance.
- Notification of Clearance: Parents or guardians will be notified of their clearance status by the administrator once all steps are successfully completed.
Ways Parents Can Volunteer at RTSA
At Road to Success Academy, parent involvement is key to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our students. Here are some meaningful ways you can contribute your time and talents as a volunteer:
- Classroom Support: Read stories, assist with individual student activities, or help reinforce learning concepts like the alphabet, numbers, and colors.
- Creative Contributions: Prepare visual materials, decorate bulletin boards, or plan engaging learning centers.
- Event and Program Assistance: Help organize book fairs, plan holiday or special occasion events, and assist with field trips.
- Learning Reinforcement: Support handwriting practice, conduct flashcard drills, or assist with projects and sing-alongs.
- Light Duties: Help grade papers, gather resource materials, or assist with light classroom tasks.
